What to do during Lent?
Please make sure you observe this Holy Season in some way such as through weekday Mass, stations of the cross, exposition, abstinence from food or other lawful pleasure., fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays, any work of charity or act of mercy, endurance of trials or perseverance in tribulations. It is in these ways that we work out our salvation, which the Son of God won for us through his Sacred Passion, Death and Resurrection.
Passion Play at St. Therese Church
As in previous years we will be having a children's service on Good Friday at 11:00 am with a Passion Play performed by our young people. This year we were hoping to have young people make the passion and death of Our Lord come alive for us.

Lenten Advice : 10 ways to Withstand Satan

  1. Do not forget that the devil exists.

  2. Do not forget that the devil is a tempter.

  3. Remember, the devil is very intelligent and astute.

  4. Be vigilant as the devil goes about like "a roaring lion seeking someone to devour".

  5. Believe firmly in Christ's victory over the tempter.

  6. Christ makes us participate in his victory.

  7. Listen to the Word of God.

  8. Be humble in mortification.

  9. Pray without ceasing.

  10. Adore the Lord our God and worship only Him.
